At BayreBooks, we strive to get your books to you as quickly and conveniently as possible. We offer free and paid delivery options depending on your order value and location in Tanzania.
Free Delivery
- Dar es Salaam: Enjoy free delivery on all orders above Tsh 25,000.
- Tanzania (all regions): Get free delivery on orders exceeding Tsh 100,000.
Delivery Rates (Orders below free delivery threshold)
- Dar es Salaam: Tsh 2,000
- Zanzibar: Tsh 5,000 – Tsh 10,000
- Morogoro, Pwani, Tanga, Dodoma, Singida: Tsh 5,000
- Kilimanjaro, Arusha, Iringa: Tsh 7,000
- All other regions: Tsh 10,000
Delivery Timeframes
- Dar es Salaam:
- Orders placed before 2:00 pm Monday – Saturday: Same day delivery (2:00 pm – 6:00 pm)
- Orders placed after 2:00 pm Monday – Saturday: Next day delivery (2:00 pm – 6:00 pm)
- Sundays: Delivery available from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm (subject to availability)
- All Other Regions: Next day delivery via regional buses.
Delivery Confirmation
For your peace of mind, all deliveries require confirmation by phone call. We’ll also send you a copy of the bus company receipt to confirm shipment of your books.
Delivery Delays or Inconveniences
In the rare case of a delivery delay due to unforeseen circumstances such as bus accidents or lost packages, the regional bus company assumes liability. While we cannot offer refunds in such situations, we will do our best to assist you. This may include offering replacement books at a 50% discount.
